Title: Kuryakyn Servo Motor Cover 9342
Post by: Phreakyz on November 30, 2018, 12:52:39 PM
Any of my Heavy Breather Road Glide Brothers have this installed on their bike?   Looks like it would cover up the black cover that comes standard on our bikes.    I'd really like to see some real world pics of it to see how it looks.

Notched for the cover... if you are running a different cover this may not be necessary.

Wow -   That was intense!    That's the install for the Ventilator series air cleaners.    I'd like to see one on a Heavy Breather air cleaner set up.    The 2019's have a large satin black cover over the servo that takes away from the Chrome on the Silver and Charcoal bikes.     They also make it in a Gloss Black for the Blacked out bikes.     It looks like it should be a bolt on for the heavy breather bikes.

THE PROVIDED THROTTLE SERVO MOTOR COVER CANNOT BE USED WITH
AN OEM AIR CLEANER.
STEP 2 Refer to PIC 2.
IF OEM AIR CLEANER IS ON BIKE:
Remove the air cleaner assembly; set aside it will not be reused.
IF SCREAMIN’ EAGLE HEAVY BREATHER AIR CLEANER IS ON BIKE (SOLD
SEPARATELY):
Remove the air cleaner assembly. Keep all items from the assembly for
re-installation.
I as well am very interested to see if this fits our 19's.  From reading the instructions it should as our 19's come with the SE Heavy Breather.

Yeah ... it should fit just fine.
Hoping to have it installed Saturday (but haven't got a ship notification from Kury yet).

Installed it last night. Easy install, mounts exactly like the stock cover. I actually used the stock bolts to mount it rather than the included ones.

In my opinion it looks decent, better than the black ... but I like the shape of the stock one better.
Some good news is that the stocker is metal so I'm thinking of sending it to chrome.

Hope these pics help ...

Thanks for the pic's.  Looks good, better then the black for sure.  See your breather at least came with raw metal mounting allen bolts.  Believe it or not they used black ones from factory to mount an all chrome breather on mine.  Had to put chrome caps on to make it look decent.  I'm going to go ahead and order the chrome cover as well.  Thanks for being the test guy.

Pretty crazy (but also not surprising) quality control - lol
Anybody got a source for chrome replacements?

I need to look through my cap collection - maybe I have some but would love to replace with chrome.

:2vrolijk_21:  It was an easy install and I think looks great over the black.

I think it looks great!   Should have been like that from the factory!

Great job man!!

After I get my stock one back from chrome (along with the breather bolts) I'll post a comparo pic.

Might be a while but it will get done.
Focusing on custom painted King TP at the moment.

Got the stuff back from chrome and I am MUCH happier with it.
I always thought the Kury was a little too big ... love the flow of the stock cover.

The bolts came out great ... stock bolts are chrome just not show chrome.

That really looks good!   Factory should have done that in the first place!   Where did you send your cover for Chroming??

JB Chrome in Ft Worth.
They are about 45mins from me.

I did two sets (4 bolts and two covers) in case something happens to these.
In person it looks drastically different from the Kury.

Anyone need a Kury cover?
Mine was mounted but never "used".
$50 shipped conus.
