Has anyone used Contenental Rear Tires? I use 130mm 16". I just ordered ME888 but after buying I read not so good mileage from them. I hope the 888 will be good, if not a need a backup plan. Thanks

Don't get me started about Continental's . For me (not to say you will) I had all sorts of problems, the biggest was wobbling.
The bike would get into a smallish wobble between 70 and 80 mph and on laine changing it would wobble in the 60 to 70 range unless I changed none aggressively. I even had wobbling at 70 going into a long bend I had to slow back into mid 60 range for it to smooth out.
I found it did help to run 1 psi over max tyre pressure. Got 11k out of them was glad to get them off the bike.
Like I said that not to say you'll have the same problem.

Ok thanks. Good to know.

if mileage is what you're after, i think you'll be hard pressed to find anything that beats the american elite or mich cdr 2.

American Elite 3 and Comander 2, I have used both and I can't break the 8k miles. Tire is 130mm wide the wider 200mm get better mileage due to stress is spread out over a larger area.

i didn't notice that you're running an older bike with the skinnier tires. the newer 180 tires are made with dual compound, which gives the extra life. on the older 130 tires, i got 10-12k out of them before they needed replacing.
