Title: Electric or Air Center-stands
Post by: Jerzboy739 on April 26, 2019, 06:26:59 PM
Does anyone have any pictures to share or recommendations on a good quality electric or air centerstand?  Anyone have a regular centerstand without the air or electric button?  Any discussion or info would be great. Are they strong?  Reliable?  Thank you guys in advance.   Bill

I have this one

https://www.amazon.com/Wheeldock-EZ-Up-Center-Stand-CS-09/dp/B003172G7Y/ref=pd_sbs_263_4/133-6609706-2704556?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B003172G7Y&pd_rd_r=8b74bc0a-68ea-11e9-aa29-13293a7f6817&pd_rd_w=K9cmA&pd_rd_wg=4ud7v&pf_rd_p=588939de-d3f8-42f1-a3d8-d556eae5797d&pf_rd_r=NDCGTJY1RKNRH5170ZB2&psc=1&refRID=NDCGTJY1RKNRH5170ZB2#customerReviews

I think it's great, I use it more than the jiffy stand. Very easy to use once you get the hang of it. While an automatic system seems tempting, this serves my needs without the potential issues of system failure.

Pros:
1. Saves space in the garage.
2. Makes it easier to clean and work on the bike.
3. Makes it easier to put on a bike lift system.

Cons:
1. Slightly reduced clearance on the left side. I have scraped it around corners.
2. Twice I had my left pants cuff snag on it. Now that I am aware of that, it no longer happens.
3. Might not work with a cross under exhaust system.
4. For someone not too tall like me, it can be a bit of a struggle to get the bike off the stand if it is facing up an incline.

Overall, one of the best investments I made on the bike.

I like the fact its a ride off no messing around.  had one on a bike about 10 years ago loved it.

Thanks guys.  Says up to a 2014 and I have a 16.  Maybe I’ll see if that company has another part number.
