Thought I'd post another pick or two now that I have the touring stuff on -
For those looking for an alternative touring saddle that (imo) doesn't look bad, check out the mustang custom wide touring seat

Man talk about a bad A$$ combo bike! A touring bike if you have the need for travel and a bad A$$ looking (imho) bar hopping Fat Bob!!! :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: Next to my O/B SEEG that is the second best color combination in the CVO line IMHO

Looks better than great, yellow and black, great combo

Thanks for the compliments! Best part about this set up (why I quoted this message) - is I can go from tour set up to 'bar bike' in less than 10 minutes - everything on it is lockable and quick release detachable - I do worry about the windshield and sissy bar. Would be nice if I could devise a way to secure those (when travelling) so I don't have to dis-assmble/re-assemble at night or for whenever I'm not in the bike vicinity.
If anyone knows tricks/gadgets for that please share.
Last note, great thing about the garmin is if you wire the speaker extension when you wire the power, you have the option of hardwired ear buds or blue tooth headset. I made a neoprene headband that fully covers my ears - between that and sound buds you'd think you were riding in a cadillac. it's just plain awesome when you're riding out in the sticks.
Winter's nearly over - can't wait to finally start piling the miles on.

Death of a Bar Bike...and birth of a show bike! :2vrolijk_21:

Harring, any chance you could post a few pictures of the bike with just the saddle?
Thanks,
Gary

Harring...do you have a part number for the ironside heel rests? Thanks in advance.

I just love the way that HD owners "blur the lines" as another member put it. ;) I am not sure adding that stuff would make me really want to tour on my Fatbob. I love mine as is a hot little town bike.
