First off,  THANKS to all those who have gone through this mod and posted information, it really helps out.

Did u mount it flush with fender or use the backing plate?   Also where did u get the medallion at.?

The medallion is a HD part so, any dealer should have it or at least order it.

Hey News,

I used the backing plate,  the gap is not very large.

As Lets Roll stated some dealers stock the Medallion, it can be ordered.  Cost about $23.

Charles,  That L.P. holder is from Kuryakyn ( kuryakyn.com ) and the Item # is 9182, whats cool is it has the Led light for the L.P. built in at the top of the frame.   You can get this at your H.D. dealer or order it online direct.
