Hi everybody,
As the new owner of a red Electra Glide CVO 2007, I would like to join this forum. There is a pile of information here that may and will be very interesting for a newbie CVO rider.
My previous bike was a Sportster 1200 Custom 1998 - Stage 2, he served me well during all those years, but now I thought it was time to join the Major League...
After looking around for some time, I found my dreambike at the HD dealer in Brussels "Capital of Europe" and bought it immediately. I could not take the risk to see it slipping through my hands.
Dreams or made to persue, so I did! In fact, I have persued the following dream in the same time .... I always dreamed of an Electra Glide Ultra Classic, with the idea that ,maybe, later, there would be the possibility to change the Ultra to a CVO.... lucky bastard as I am, I found the CVO first! :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:
I am a 43 year 'young' male, married with Ann and I have one son Kevin (who is angry at me for selling the Sportster, even if he is to young (15y) to drive it, he would like to keep it for himself). I earn my money as a salesman in construction materials. My principal hobbies are biking and music, the good old Rock and Metal keep me going on....
As a Belgian, my native language is Flemish, so I would like to be excused for my English if the are any mistakes in translating my thoughts in to words. I promise to do the best I can.
Thanks for this forum and for all the information I will find over here!

A big old welcome to the site from East Tennessee. Don't worry as most of usn's tawlk funny on dis side ofda pond, too. Glad you got your CVO first but beware...it means it's awful hard to go back to another scooter after owning the CVO. They are a great bike. My '12 SESG is my 11th Harley since 1989 and it's the best by far. You will enjoy that '07. Got an idea for ya: tell your son if he's good, he can have your '07 when it's time for Dad to move to another CVO... :2vrolijk_21:
Enjoy the site and the new scoot and keep it between the ditches... :bananarock:

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome!
That is one off the things that makes riding a Harley a real pleasure, you are member of a big family, and everywhere you are welcome!
About my nickmane, Bollocks is a word comming from the British English and is often used figuratively an a noun meaning Nonsense. "Bollocks!" can be used as a stand-alone interjection to express strong disagreement. It dismisses a statement as nonsense, similar to the American "bullchit". In Ireland, "bollocks" are used as a singular noun to mean a despicable or notorious person, for instance: "Who's the old bollocks you were talking to?" or conversely as a very informal term of endearment: "Ah Ted, ye big bollocks, let's go and have a pint!".
For me, it means I am a person that can have fun with his friends, likes practical jokes and dislikes 'rubbish' or 'stupid or unnatural obligations'. There, I say 'Bollocks to that!'
Enjoy the road and keep it safe!

Hi again,
Not really a new member, I was already active on this forum, years ago!
Health issues decided that I had to stop riding...
At first, I still followed this website, but is became to hard reading the stories and self being unable to enjoy a ride... so, I stopped visiting the CVO Owner Group website.
I never wanted to sell my bike, always telling myself (and the wife) the 'some day, I would be riding again!'
Well, it hapend! :huepfenjump3: :bananarock: :orange:
Lucky me, after a dark period in my life, I was able to enjoy my first ride in years...
Last Saturday, I drove it to the local dealership to give the bike a checkup, new oil, brake fluid and a general inspection... and I got it back yesterday... rode my first 60km in 4 years.... and oh my God, it felt goooooooood!
I will need the time to rebuild my riding skills, but time is on my side! I'm back in the saddle!!!!!
So CVO-members, here I go again!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
