Hello all. Just joined from Pittsburgh, Pa area. I recently traded my 15 CVO Street Glide for an 18 CVO Street Glide. After I got the new bike I started reading on forums and other outlets about all these problems people are having with the M8s. I really wish I would have done some reading before my purchase as it might have changed my mind. Sure hope I didn't make a HUGE mistake by getting rid of my 15 for a lemon.

Many owners have had no problems.  Some have experienced problems.  Forums tend to emphasize the negatives, it's a great place to explore problems and get advice, etc.  I have an M8, know a lot of riders with M8s, do not know of a single engine issue.  Subjective, yes, but my opinion is it is not as widespread as others believe it is.
