2017 CVO Limited sppedometer/Tach removal
« on: May 22, 2019, 03:55:15 PM »

I got the front fairing off and the 4 screws for the gauge cluster. Looks to be still attached on the bottom. Can't get it out. Any help?

Bill, you did not say if you have a service manual so I looked at my service manual for my '18 thinking it is most likely the same.  Here is what it says:

Speedometer/Tachometer Instrument Cluster:  Fork-Mounted Fairing
1.  Remove outer fairing
2.  Remove fairing vent
3.  Remove upper fairing support
4.  Disconnect electrical connector
5.  Remove screws (says there are 2)
     Remove instrument cluster and bezels

Hope this helps.

Any yanking and tugging and bad words?

(I sometimes find these things to be beneficial.)

Yes I had to tilt it in and tug. Not sure at first what was holding it.
