My wife and I took the cruise in Feb of 06...................Sorry for the delay in posting....................But the cruise did'nt cost any more than a week in Myrtle Beach or a week in Daytona...........Well maybe a little more.............You could spend anywhere from $800. apiece to $1800 a piece depending what type of room you chose on the ship. And after we were back from the cruise we went from Miami to Key West stayed the night. Then up the west coast of Fla. thru alligator alley, the two lane road..............all the way up to Zephr Hills to see my father. That we did in two days.

That was great FN. In hindsight, was it worth it? Would you do it again? I've checked out the prices and there is quite a bit of a royalty to get to take the bikes. Just wondering if the up-charge was worth it.

How many miles did you get to ride while on the cruise?

Thanks for posting.

Yes I would, P.R. was a little hectic, not the best part of the trip. But you get to see a little around San Jaun and you stop at a few bars. The other stops......St Thomas............St Marteen..................Much better.............. Alot more scenery, much much more riding. St Marteen has alot more road than St Thomas, ST Thomas is much more greener than St Marteen. I would say 10 to 15 miles in San Juan and around 35 to 40 miles on the other 2 islands. Alot of bar stops and and great scenery.................You have to remember that the island are not that big.

Thanks FN. That's just the type of first-hand report I was looking for. Just might have to do this one. :)

What was with the fuel restrictions in Puerto Rico?  Are the bikes transported empty?

Are you 7 feet tall?

When you boarded the ship, your gas tank had to be damn near empty. If the ETA folks deemed it not empty enough they would siphon it. In the whole trip no one ran out of gas. Every Island you had to get gas. Some bikes got more some less. About a gallon or so.  Every time after a ride, the ships Safety Officer, would personally look in each tank. The ETA people have done this many times. They know what they're doing.........................6-4" TALL

Looks like you had a great vacation...

How long were you gone - how many days was the trip?

In round numbers - how much?
