Front Motor Mount Suggestion
« on: September 16, 2008, 05:12:02 PM »

'05 SEEG.  Bought it used and it now has about 20K miles.  A bit more vibration and "wobble" as compared to my RK so I'm looking to address this.  Have a Bagger Brace on order as tires are good, steering neck tight, etc. and the "wobble" is at speed.  I am also going to replace the front motor mount (had to do the same on my RK @ 20K).

I have read about the "new" HD mount, the Velva Ride and the Buell (P/N ??) mount.  From those who have replaced one already, what did you use and how is it working?

Thanks,

Chris

The True Track engine mount works fine for me, along with their 3rd link setup, which is the ORIGINAL!!! ;)

Several of us have used the Velva front mount with good results.  Would buy it again.  Do a search on Velva on this site and it will show you where you will have to grind a little off the oil cooler bracket for clearance.
