Suspension upgrade 2004 SEEG - Technoflex
« on: September 17, 2008, 07:49:22 AM »

had the same type of remarks as most with the std suspension, speed wobble, wobble during cornering, bottoming out on any type of bumps higher than a coke can, made some inquiries and found Technoflex; they are going to make a bespoke set of rears and new springs and oil in the front, price for the whole operation (done at their shop):€1135 including everything. Drop of the bike (even on Sunday) and a week later pick-up with the new setting. They let you test the bike and make the adjustments based on your remarks, feels like being pampered by a works team. Below some pictures of a Electra (it seems a  20006 CVO?)

The shocks are YSS gas/emulsified with a progressively wound spring.  They are good for an economy shock and we are doing a sided by side comparison currently  with a 440.  There is no comparison between the build quality between the two.  Look inside of both and decide for yourself.  The YSS & WP was designed by the same person and outwardly appears to be the same.  They are for sure made in different places, however.

Don't be so cheap.
Call Jim (hd-dude) and order you some.
Get the good ones (chrome and 11 way adjustable)
Nothing but the best for Kathy I'm sure.
