Towing
« on: March 08, 2009, 01:23:24 AM »

Howdy, I'm thinking about towing a small pop-up camper. The camper weighs in at 255lbs and I usually have an additional 100 lbs of gear in it not counting food and other consumables. It's a small camper marketed for bike towing. So far I've only towed it behind my cage. I've been looking at different hitches. Anybody have favorites and other tips? I'd be towing it with my SERK. I haven't seen any pics at the websites showing hitches on SERKs yet. I'm also wondering how my bike will tow. Thanks for any help or info.

Bushtec makes a great hidden reciever style hitch, virtually invisible when you don't have the hitch ball installed. the '09 model hitch isn't on their website yet, you have to call them. My 03 Ultra towed with no problem so your SERK should handle it just fine.
