I bought a Trailer last week in the U.K. from e-bay ($1000). Not that buying a Trailer is interesting but what it was carrying round maybe of interest to some of you.
It was carrying a Drag Racer called "Shenendoah" which has been racing at Santa Pod and Elvington in the U.K. for the past few years by a 76yr old guy called Bill Lord.
Bill brought it over from the states with the trailer about 5-6 years ago where it had been racing at Dragway 42 by a guy called Bill Marchetti (or could be Marquetti) it was built by 2 brothers (I dont have their names) and did the standing 1/4mile in 9secs and the flying mile at 170mph.
It is a 1974 96" Ironhead and can run for a max of 2 1/2 mins before siezing up.
If anyone remembers the bike or has any more information I would be grateful.
The bike is still racing here in the u.k.and was sold recently by Bill Lord for $12,000.
