help me fix my AUX

My radio is a 05 CD HD. My aux jack has quit, My ipod will only play the left speaker. CD and radio play both. Ive changed cables also. I think i have a wire broke inside the radio, has anyone ever worked on the inside? is it possibe for a wire to be broke or have i blowed something up inside this think. I could use some help or some other way to play my ipod....

Don't know chit about the innards but you could always get one of those power plugs w/ the transmitter for the Ipod. They work OK, not great, but plenty good enough. Then you have one less cord to worry about. Something like this.

First check your cable and ipod out on another radio, if tis proven good then the iput jack on the radio has most likely gone bad. check out this thread for a detailed "how to" on adding a jack out the rear of the radio. The wiring info for the jack is there as well.

I had to fix a friends of mine that had the same problem. the solider that the aux plug attached to the board came loose, I had to resolider it.

if you have the jack remoted to the back,  you will really like that.  fix your problem too..
