I have an 09 cvo springer with 500 miles on it. I was going to take a trip last weekend and when i went to fill up i had a bus er on my display with my battery light on and my check engine light on and on the way home my speedometer would come and go i called the local dealer they said to bring it in after we tried to reset the code and it was still present. The dealer called today and said they have to replace the ecm. I looked at a code reference and it said serial bus problem. I also had it tuned about 100 miles ago after putting big radius pipes on it and bought a super tuner.
I was wondering if anyone else has had any problems like this. Or if anyone has any thoughts. Could having my bike tuned cause something like this?
