;) I have a question about changing the 4 instrument bulbs to LED. I have trouble reading the red at night on my 2010 SEUC and wanted to change them. The mechanics told me that they were not able to change them and I would need to change the gauges. Any knowledge on the 2010's? Can I change them out?

I just spoke to the local dealer about this issue.  He tells me that I was sold the WRONG PART!
Seems that I purchased part #75320-05a, but should have gotten 74707-09, which is the updated gauge specifically for the 09-10 SEUC,  which will match the lighting!
Talk about pissed!   I've already paid to have the thing put in.  Parts guy must be new.   The guy that gave me the new info has been there longer, and thinks the dealer will take care of me on the part and labor.  One can only hope.   :soapbox:

Hey Z, I cannot find the 74707-09 part number. Can you check that for me and give me an update? Thx....Gary

Sorry for that confusion. The part Guy at my local dealer gave me that number, but it turned out to be an oil pressure gauge not oil temp.            Z

I ordered one in Nov also and the ship date was to be Dec 12th..  I found one in stock at a dealer 60 miles away and isntalled it.  Hopefully for you, the delay means they are fixing the lighting issue.  If it is the same gauge I have, shame on the MOCO..

(The gauge I have looks ok but does not light well like the rest of the CVO gauges).

I have the same problem and it looks like we are stuck with red in the tach/speedo.

I knew of this lighting problem before I orderd it, But I ride little at night would not make a differance to me. Just the fact that it has been backorded for 3 months gets my butt.   Doc.

Ya know, I was looking at the old gauge, and  am able to pull out the old bulb without a problem.  New one is already in, much dimmer than original, but I'm wondering if the bulbs could be interchanged, and if that would make a difference?

You would have to change bulbs to be sure.  I just believe the 09 and 10 bikes have updated lighting in the 4 small gauges.  The small 4 gauges on the 10 light up 10 times better than on  my 05 and the gauges look the same.
