Topic: Our 2011 Diamond Black/Inferno Orange SESG.......PICS! (Read 19635 times)

first of all.........big shout out to our sales babe (Melissa) at Kutter Harley in Janesville Wisconsin. we went in last week and ordered the Diamond Black/Inferno Orange SESG from her and right off the bat she threw in FREE matching passenger floorboards installed and credited us the freight and setup. we figured it would be a long 60 - 90 day wait buy worth it.

well Melissa had some free time so she started calling every single dealer in the area that had an Inferno Orange one because they have a Crimson SESG scheduled in next week, and was looking to trade. my wife received a call from Melissa Wednesday with our VIN and said they'd have it Friday...........and we picked her up Saturday!

IMO........this is NOTHING like the 07' SG we sold. the handling, suspension and of course paint pop are amazing and this particular color combo really screams "look at me".

and the last showing the shorty dark windshield i put on (need more air, plus looks better) and i also removed the heel shifter and capped it off. i find the heel shift to always be in my way!

thanks........i wanted to post some good ones that i was looking for and couldn't find. she'll be going back for 590 cams, little head work, high comp pistons, headers, mufflers a tune and chrome buttons on the hand controls..........oh and the next step longer antenna as the reception leaves a little to be desired. should put down hp in the 120's and torque close to 130............

Is that the TR 590 your putting in? You can modify these motors? WOW!

actually the cams are Tman Performance 590G cams. i went in to my dealer thinking S&S 625 cams but Kutter HD has a Service Advisor (Aaron) who is the performance "expert" at the dealership. he talked me into the 590's based on my riding style as they will hammer my valvetrain less than the 625 while producing more hp at lower rpm's (of course loosing some hp on the high end). just an overall better fit considering the head work i'm gonna do too.

stock is fine, but there's no emission BS here in Wisconsin and a 110" making less than 1hp per cubic inch is rediculous. plus by doing this......we'll rectify the weak links HD seems to always have internally.

Congrats. Waiting for mine any day. I am still torn between the Black/Orange and Green/Black. The orange one should be here first, then the green in mid September. Just need to wait and see. Some pics of the orange look peach not orange. I hope it looks different in person.

nowhere near peach. it's a "pearl" type paint. so when the sun hits the angles of the bike, you see a lighter, pearly orange. very stunning. very comperable to GM's Inferno Orange in the 2010 Camaro and House of Kolor's Tangelo Pearl.

the Kryptonite will have the same "pearl" flop in it as well. the sunlight will lighten it too.

This is the pic I was talking about. I asked about 10 people what do they think of the color and ALL said it looked peach. Like I said I hope it looks different in person. I like this one, in some pics, over the green.

i wouldn't call it peach but inside flourescent lighting does change the intensity...........

Congrats on the new ride. Kutter is very respectful dealer and known throughout Southeastern WI for that (former cheesehead myself). Good to see all the nice pics - no dealers here in Phoenix have any CVO's in yet. My dealer isn't expecting any in until mid September and said they will be getting the Road Glide Ultra first and then maybe a Street Glide or another model. Frustrating to have to wait so long to see one in person.

No doubt this is my favorite color of the 2011's.

The Tman 590G cam is a great cam, but I'd be cautious about going with gear drive. Make sure your builder checks your crank runout!

Who is going to do your headwork and dyno work? What tuner are you going to use? TTS?

not sure about the gear drive.....most of my riding touring and it will never see a track so i may just go with chain drive. as far as heads, Kutter HD does it in house now with pretty impressive results. tuner wise........no sure yet, prolly whatever my buddy Rob at Kutter is most comfy with.........i used a SERT on the 07'.

thanks! other than the valvetrain chatter.........i'm loving it!

i will definately post the results after the mods.....just waiting on the call from my dealer to haggle on the cost a bit. hoping to have it done in the next week or so.

Very nice ride. Inferno Orange was the color of the 2010 CVO Softail Convertible which is what started me looking at the CVO. it is really a stunning color and looks great at night but really amazing in the sun. If the 2011 CVO Road Glide Ultra came in that color I would really be in trouble....

Agree - great color combo, loved it on my Softail, almost got it on the SESG but switched to Black Diamond at the last minute.
