Thought I would start a topic about my rocker build. About a month ago I got a 2009 rocker c with 1,200 miles and started my own cvb (custom vehicle build)! I should have it close to done by next week. It has pm torque contrast wheels with a 21 up front, matching rotors & pulley, v&h short shot staggered exhaust, Danny gray seat with gel, ness mirrors, cobra headlight, 12" fat z bars, H-D Diamondback cables & lines, kuryakyn switchblade pegs, H-D flame theme parts, d&m spike air cleaner, tts tuner, 2" tank lift, flush mount fuel gauge and cap, red led lighting, and much more miscellaneous chrome and goodies. Hopefully cams and another dyno tune soon. I'll be posting pictures when it's done and when the snow clears! And for anyone interested I'm looking for a cool personalized plate name. I would like phat az but I'm sure the DMV will shoot it down.

Nice project! I like the new shorter exhaust, looks better for some reason! Can't put my finger on why, maybe just neater! I been thinking about doing the same thing with a 08 or 09 Fatboy, or start with a 06 CVO Fatboy and build from there... can't decide. I don't know what you paid for yours but my buddy had a Rocker the same color as yours with only 800 miles and he was unable to sell it, he was asking $14,000. I am unfamiliar with what there value is. Will be looking for more pics from you. Good job!

A couple more quick shots. Cobra headlamp, fat z 1 1/4" mini apes (12"), 4 inch risers, turn signal relocate using dyna brackets, ISO grips with spike ends, and ness mirrors. I wanted to only use 2" risers but when the tank gets installed with a 2" lift the corners of the bars would of hit. Now I'm just waiting on the Diamondback cables and lines that I've had on order for 2 weeks. Luckily it's going to snow again and have a high below 10 degrees so I can't ride anyway.

Getting close! Cables came in today. Here it is with the 2" tank lift, and throttle and idle cables. Also installed the brake line, but still needs bled. Still need to install clutch cable and few more chrome pieces like the axle nut covers. I will get better pictures when I can get it your of the garage but this will give you the idea.

Thanks to all for words of advice and encouragement. Pretty much ready to ride now. Hopefully cams in the next few months. Does anyone know of a good dyno tuner in the state of Nebraska? I do have a Tts master tuner.

Alrighty here is my rocker c ignition coil cover mod. To cover the black (hand grenade) coil. I used my kuryakyn zombie horn cover for this mod so I am guessing any large horn cover will work. First I removed the ignition switch from the coil and re-installed the coil pack. I modified the supplied horn bracket. I used 1/16" steel stock to make a second bracket for the ignition switch. I used the front and middle motor mount bolts to mount the brackets. I can supply greater details or step by step if anyone wants. Other than the horn cover which I already had I didn't spend a dime on this mod. I have roughly 2- 3hours in this modification and that is mainly because I had to keep re-tweeking the brackets for an exact fit. All in all it came out excellent and i am elated. I will have some better pictures when the weather gets nice and I get the spike axle nut covers and flush mount license plate on.this picture will give you the idea though.

Since i got my seat back from danny gray i got to ride for a while today. Just a couple more pictures. As you can tell I decided to have a little red gator put in the seat. Since the last pictures I installed the kuryakyn flush mount plate frame, removed the lower belt guard, and installed spike front axle covers. You can also see the coil cover mod a little better.

Great work on personalizing your ride! Looks great. I have the Flamin' Switchblade pegs on my Wide Glide and just love 'em. Check out the Kuryakyn Flamin' shifter peg and brake pedal. Does a nice job of completing the look and they're cheap mods.

Hey billyo222 – Great looking Rocker! I too have similar aspirations for my 2011 only in black. As of now I have V&H Big Radius, Heartland side mounted plate holder and light, front and rear axle covers, Avon hand grips and pegs, H/D shifter linkage, billet style brake and shift foot levers, clutch and brake hand levers, outer primary cover, cam cover, and transmission side cover, black finn derby and timer cover, belt guard, buckshot mirrors, and a Danny Gray seat and personalized plate. Once I turn 1K I’m having the Screamin’ Eagle big bore stage II/103 kit installed.

Billy - you're right your wheels would look bad azz on my Rocker. Perhaps in the future I'll pull the trigger on a pair.

Sweet looking Rockers! I highly recommend the 103" mods, it really wakes the old twin cam up.
