Gary - how hard was the install of Howard's 49mm for the front?  I just got the 6's on my 2012 CVORG, and it just confirmed that something now needs to be done with the front.

Tj,

Mine is a 2015, so I have the 49mm kit from Howard. Your bike has smaller diameter forks so the kit I described will not work. You could use the Ohlin's  FKC101 kit, also available thru Motorcycle Metal. This is a 25mm kit that he will set up with springs based on information you supply. This kit has standard travel I think and no compression or rebound dampening adjustment. You can adjust oil levels to modify the ride. I have not used these but I have heard good things about them. One good thing is they are a LOT cheaper!

If the install is the same and I am pretty sure it is, Then you need access to a lathe to cut off 0.150" from top of fork leg. The removal of the check valve is easy with a flapper wheel on a die grinder.
