Somehow The MOCO was either going for the retro look, Or maximizing profit by using the LOLLYPOPS.......   JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like Willie G. said, "I want you guys to make the most badass Road Glide, ever, and just to show that it is, you should put my skulls all over it.  But ......... for the mirrors, I want you to go out and find the chittiest mirrors known to man and put those on it.  If you don't, you're all fired!" :huepfenlol2:

I agree that the stock mirrors do not fit with the rest of the bike. Since this thread stared a couple of days ago I have been all over the internet looking for that "perfect set". I like the larger size of the stock ones. Any other ideas out there?

I would change them, As much as i like chrome i would stay with black on that bike, I think chrome would stick out like a sore thumb.  :2vrolijk_21:

Black IMO, Either something from the HD collection or a well known company. The no name stuff is crap, the glass turns brownish and the finish doesn't hold up. What to choose depends on you and your size. Cute little mirrors with small stems generally don't let you see around your shoulders. Then again they don't need to look like a set of GM pickup truck mirrors either. As for the black finish I wouldn't go crazy trying to come up with a matte black finish. A gloss black will turn to flat black with a little neglect!  ;)

those stock round mirrors really don't look too good... I would definitely look for something else..

Maybe they made them round to match the skull emblem?   :nixweiss:

Thanks everyone for the replies.
I see that most feel about the round stock mirrors as I do.
I'm thinking I may try the PM mirrors.

If they are to shiny I can get my painter to dull them up a bit.
(Damn, buying new parts and then complaining cause their to shiny)
I will post some pictures once I'm done.
Again, thanks.

I put on the Harley Edge Cut as Hawg showed, looks good and can see good. Black matches bike, and the cuts match the Billet brake and shift linkage.

Go ahead, keep changing your stock units... I will be the only one running with the stock units and my bike will look unique!  :P

Seem I am the only one that likes the stock units... visibility is frigging great with them.  ;)
