Just a couple of changes i have made lately

1. extended lake pipe
2. Arlen Ness rocker box mounted oil pressure gauge (came with a 60psi gauge which did not take long to chit itself, had to replace with a 100psi gauge)

Nice mods.....Bike is looking great....I really like the look of the braided fuel line...It cleaned that area up real nice...Was that a HD part??? If so, what P/N...thanks.....

Love your latest work partner. Questions that I have:

1. Can you still see the tach with that cross section? It looks like it hinders the view from these photos.
2. Why the fins inserts? Is there a performance value? I know you are in tune with your ride. I don't exactly get the fins stuff.
3. I was told the Dyna's braided fuel line didn't work on our 05' FLSTFSE. No mods to make it work?
4. When are you going to do the 200 + rear end job?

You were mis-informed as I have the braided fuel line which is also the dyna part number... It fits and looks good. It looks so good I am considering buying steel braided plug wires.

Nice mods, I like the fins. I should probably consider them as I have an oil stain near my head bolt that will not come off and that would cover it up nicely... The point at which your bars connect is a little busy looking, but nicely done. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

1. I can see the whole tacho face with no obstruction.
2. Some people say the extra fins increase the cooling area, but I put them on purely for looks.
3.No mods at all, removed stock fuel line & fitted braided line (2 minute job)
4. As soon as I get enough time it is a fairly big job, (I seem to have time for small jobs) I have every part I need just need to have the fender painted (when I drop that off it wil take about 4 - 5 weeks) & the swingarm chromed after I make sure they fit OK. I know it's taking me a long time to make it happen but it will happen!

I was going to do a 250 or a 300 tire with a right side drive before starting on building the hard bag brackets. Then I discovered the frame had to be cut to relocate the strutts. I know you have already researched this but to get the 200 tire between the struts may I ask are you going to reweld the brackets to the frame or are you going to make some brackets to relocate the positioning of the wider fender.

I will be cutting the frame horns off that are part of the stock frame. I have made some new ones (laser cut from 10mm thick steel plate) using the 2006 FLSTFSE2 fender struts as a template & they will bolt on behind the new FLSTFSE2 buckshot fender struts & my new FLSTFSE2 rear fender will slip nicely in between the new strut set up. I will need to cut back the the chrome trim on the stock seat to go around the fender struts where they bolt on (just like the FLSTFSE2)

It's rare to hear you toot your own horn, Aussie. But how could I not agree? Your fine ride is really taking shape, and totally in the right direction. I wish there was a straight bolt on like that without raising or modfication to the handlebars.

As expected, your taste in mods is just excellent; and truly motivating.

2. I did not like the black faced liquid filled oil pressure gauge(I hated the air bubble you get with the liquid filled) I had so replaced it with a silver faced one that was not liquid filled.
