Garz,
Supertrap will deliver reasonable numbers, and run fairly quietly for you.
Also how went the ECM issues ?
Kerkers slip ons sound good if you want low sound, but cant sell them as a performance or better performance muffler. They are a muffler that is quieter than most, thats it. Decent chrome and not super expensive.
If VH does release a pipe that no longer blues they may save some of their customers, but many are moving over to rinehart the sales on those 2 into 1's and D&D are both up, I think its mostly due to customer service or the lack of by VH on the blueing of the muffler on the 2 into 1.
Obviously they knwo there is a problem if they come up with a solution, just sucks they wouldnt warranty the mufflers for those with the problem.
Based on their customer service personally I would rather buy something else than give them more money. Not saying I wouldnt if they came out with something I jsut had to have, but at that point its buyer is already aware vs. buyer beware.
Its the 2 into 1 or Y pipe yielding the back pressure and power if you were to swap mufflers to say most others you will find that they out perform the kerkers, such as Bassani muffler, rinehart, thunderheader, VH, Sampson, D&D, Hooker and the old white brothers (EoL). I have owned all but the bassani muffler listed and while I like sound I generally have gone after the power.
I am interested in hearing more about the D&D peace officer slip-ons if anyone tries them.
