So I retrieved my XDS .45 from the FedEx office this evening. Sure enough, came back with a case, extended mag and an extra mag plastic spacer (don't know why). Good excuse to go to the range this weekend. Also there was a note about an update owner's manual available for download.

Did you not send it with a case?

I used a Walther case I had as it was much smaller then the XD-S case, and fit in a box I already had.

Nope, the instructions were to remove the mags and keep all my items. So I wrapped it nicely in bubble wrap and sent if off. I also didn't clean it, even though their instructions were to do so prior to shipping.

Any one that has an xds45 looking for two extended mags, brand new, I have them and will sel for 50$ plus shipping. I bought a glock so I don't need em.

Too pricey.

Thanks, check around, they are 30+. Don't want to pay it, don't comment >:(

If you want to offer up something for sale and don't want comments - post it on the for sale section.

I see not everyone on most forums take time to think before typing.

Don - I did see that it was for 2 and based my comment on that.

Now, I have about 2 dozen Glock 19 mags that are worth $30-$40 each on the open market.
But, if I were to offer them up here to site members, I would sell them at $15, what I paid for ones I actually bought. And if I didn't need them anymore, maybe even less.

I read it both ways Duane.  My last spare mags for weapons no longer owned were also passed on to friends or others who could put them to good use for little.  Cost of postage or a six pack or maybe just a tiny bit more.  Agree with you that within some circles we just don't have to make out well on everything.  Helping the buddies is, in fact, making out well :drink: .

Guess I will just jump back in, as I said these are 2 new mags. I ordered them from Springfield thinking I was going to get an xds, but with the low availability and the recall, and the fact that my brother bought one,(he has 4 mags, don't want more). I thought I would offer them up to someone that can use em, they are gathering dust here as I just bought a glock 30s, so.... That's my story and I am sticking to it.

So then, why did you change your mind about the XDS?

Two really different firearms, except for the poly.

I have a lcp I carry daily, thought an xds would take its place, found this new glock for 500$, which was the most I was willing to spend on an xds, so decided to continue carrying the .380 summer time, and carry the glock in winter when I usually wear sweatshirts. I just looked at the mags I purchased several months ago, and one is the extended version, the other is standard. Guess I would take an offer. Oh, the xds is almost heavier feeling than the glock, and being the 30s is in the smaller frame, it's only a little wider than the xds, but holds 10+1.

I haven't weighed them yet, but the 45 XD-S seems to be heavier with a 7 rounds of 230 grain then my 19 with 14 rounds of 115 grain. Never held/shot the 30, but if it shoots like the rest of the G's it may be a bit more comfortable then the XD-S
