Plugging the passenger peg holes....
« on: May 16, 2014, 04:06:36 PM »

I have removed my passenger pegs and now have a hole that needs to be covered (plugged).  I would like a chrome plug that is about 3/4" top diameter designed to fit into the 5/16" bolt hole.  Has anyone found something like this?  I cannot be the first one to make the breakout a solo ride.

I removed my passenger pegs, too, and then got the kuryakyn mid frame cover.i found a 5/8 bold, but still need 4 more of those, and the bottom hold has no threads,so I am still trying to figure a solution on that.

Local hardware store might be best bet? That's where I got the chrome bolts for my latches.

My first & last CVO, Scarlett, arrived 6-1-12. I always remember my mom while riding.  She had smarts with a spirit of independence & adventure. "You Gotta LIVE!", was her motto; her favorite color red, and she loved BLING.
