Title: Inner Cam bearings-B168 Koyo-Timkin-Torrington
Post by: Boatman on August 20, 2013, 04:46:52 PM
I purchased inner cam bearing removal/install tools and they came with KOYO B168 bearings and stated "made in USA" on them.  The boxes say Koyo.

The seller stated these are the same as the Torrington's thru buyouts or something to that effect.

So the question is do I use these, or look for ones that say torrington on them?

From pictures I have seen, they look to have the style needle bearings that are desired-no cage spacers in between the needles.

Koyo purchased Torrington some time ago.  They are now one and the same.  The KOYO/Torrington B168 bearings are manufactured in the USA.
