Our 2100 mile central Ca ride
« on: June 03, 2008, 10:25:10 AM »

We spent Memorial week riding around Central Ca and a little NV. Started down the coast, through Sequoia Nat Park, Death valley, Tonopaw Nv, over Sonora pass, and through Yosemity. We did about 2100 mi and the dog and trailer went for about 1900 mi. One day riding we never diped below 5000 feet and the temp never rose over 40 dg.  Here's a couple of highlight pics.
Sonora Pass 9600 ft, pic at 9000 ft.

Thanks dOOd, Yea it was in the mid thirties but I love riding when there is snow around and the roads are clear and not icy. Pulling the trailer up 19 - 27% grade switch backs through snow earlier was not much fun though. Nor was the 20 miles of hail down the other side of the pass, but it was all worth it!

Thanks for posting.  Yosemte is one incredable place in the spring, when all the falls are flowing.....it's incredable when the falls are down to a trickle. :2vrolijk_21:

Looks like you guys had a really great time.
