Didn't realize we got ours quite so close together.  I got mine sometime in September that year.  Damn.  Have had that bike almost as long as I had the '04 already.  Time flies.

The red 2000 came home to me on 8 March of 2008.  Hard to believe it's been here nearly six years.  Or that the bike is 14 years old....

They are a cool ride Marty.  I remember when you got yours.  It stuck with me as it wasn't that long after I'd scored mine. 

The paint scheme on those bikes has aged well.  Doesn't look in any way period or dated.  Just a good classic look.  We got cool bikes man .

I know what you mean, people are always coming around mine....black white and orange are the fastest of the SERG after all.

All the 00 and 01 SERGs have help up well.  Good looking bikes (even the blue ones).  The red ones are obviously the best looking (I read it on the internet [right back < there {so it must be true}]).  But they're all bikes that look good and have held up very well.

The Triple Reds are indeed holding up well. I get amazed looks all the time when I tell them how old it is.

I hope jr1000yarder will forgive me reposting a picture of his ride here but this is the Road Glide forum and the people who know the most about Road Glides (the owners) check in on this thread. Soooooooo anyway, I was hoping to hear more about this ride. I think somehow there was a misconception as to me not liking the bike. I think it's incredibly cool but I was wondering about a ton of things. Beyond what we can see what's been done to it. Does it have air suspension. What's the motor ? Mods to the sound system How does the front wheel handle. There's a story here I'd like to hear.

I hear ya Brian. I love the look of this bike. Especially like the front wheel as it was one of my favorites. I would love to hear the rest of the upgrades.

Agreed,  My 2001 gets lots of attention.  Once I finish adding some stuff over the winter,  it will be very very good.  adding 19" agitatior up front and one in the rear.  New paint, some more billet and new windshield.
