Fitting a note 20 ultra into a batwing fairing compartment
« on: January 04, 2021, 07:14:45 AM »

Just an FYI for anyone else looking into a similar scenario.
Fitting a Samsung note 20 ultra into a 2020 cvo street glide fairing compartment. Basically I'm not a fan of phone holders or windshield bags so  I wanted to see if there was a way to get the phone to fit.....even though the phone is pretty big. Stock the phone sticks out a fair amount, not allowing the door to close. With a little trimming I am able to get the note 20 ultra to fit inside and using a 90 degree usb cable allows the door to close.
Granted the compartment is no longer water proof, but honestly I don't see much water getting in there. Even if it does most modern phones are water resistant.

The forum won't allow me to attach more than 1 pic at a time so if you click on the pic it will take you to the album
