Powertrain.
A change has been made to how transmission oil is checked.
Currently it is checked on the side stand with dip stick resting on thread.

The change is to screw the dipstick in until the o-ring touches the case.

Does this mean it is the same for pre 2013 models as well?

I'm going out on a limb here to suggest that the slipper clutches help rear tire life for most.  Personally, I downshift a lot, and am not always...gentle...when I do.  I think this has always contributed to my "dragging down the average" when it comes to rear tire life.

Time will tell, but I'll be watching.  An ASC upgrade may actually pay for itself if I'm right.   :nixweiss:

it's not really a new technology to H-D, they already use it for the V-Rod.
