We've had this discussion (actually almost every year). Please look it up for yourself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shriners

Harley builds special models for people belonging to the Shriners. I am not sure if they'd be available in Europe. In any case the difference to the regular model are just some cosmetics.

Ride safely,
Louis

You wouldn't want one of the bikes - they're really tiny.   :huepfenjump3: :bananarock: :orange:

It's like a Peace Officer Special Edition. You are supposed to be a LEO (or Shriner) to order one. You need to produce paperwork that confirms this when you place your order. After HD gets all their orders in for one year, they make a finite number of bikes in those colors. Those who buy them are NOT supposed to resell them within one year. My last two Ultras have been Peace Officer bikes. There is really nothing special about them other than the limited edition paint. They are not as rare or "valuable" (whatever the heck that means) as say a CVO bike.

But what the hell are shriners

It's an adjunct of Freemasonry.  Used a cool little thing on the net called Google to find out more: http://www.egyptshrine.org/Become_Shriner.html

Actually typed in "what the hell are shriners" to see what'd come up and got that good link :huepfenlol2: .

They also help out kids for free at the Shriner's Hospitals: http://www.shrinershq.org/Hospitals/Main/

They're also part of a worldwide and historical conspiracy to control the world.  Find out more by reading "The Illuminatus!" or studying "The Knights Templar."  But sleep with the light on (insert scary music here).
