Title: ** A Pic (finally) Diamond Cut Heads & Cyls.
Post by: FreestateSE3 on December 09, 2007, 08:25:37 PM
Well, I was going to post about getting my bike back, after having the heads and cylinders Diamond Cut, but then I realized that I don't have any pictures to post, so I'd probably catch some grief, so I decided not to post about it yet.......... :worthless:

Got one..... :bananarock:

However; as soon as I have some pics, I'll get the post up...... ::)

I hate being confused.  Free, was this a post about not posting?  A post to announce it was not a post?  Not a post that posted it was not a post? Not a post that was a post?  A ham sandwich?

Where the hell is Iski?

There's a difference though.  Norfolk has it's own little pronunciation issue.  But if you sait it right Fauquier has that and political incorrectness to boot :mango: !

Back to the original question- it was a post alerting viewers that there wasn't really a post, but that a post to notify when the real post was to be posted, will be posted....Oh God, I'm getting a headache   :2vrolijk_21:

The picture is fabulous.

The cards that picked your poor post apart are hilarious.  What a good time we get to have here.

Certainly!  It's the only reason we go this kind of effort.  You don't believe anyone here is so vain to do this much work just for looks do you :nixweiss: ?

The diamond cut looks really sharp. Just wondering if you are aware of all the oil leaks with the 110's. If you end up with a leak, and I hope you don't, but if you do, they'll replace the cylinder but they want pay for the diamond cuts. My rear cylinder will be getting replaced in the next few days and I checked into getting the cylinders diamond cut while the engine was apart. The service manager warned me that if the problem was not resolved and the cylinder had to be replaced again that HD would not pay for the diamond cuts.  :-\

Supposedly, but damned if I know- it's been too cold to tell  :nixweiss:  When I went with the SERT and V&H Big Shot Duals, there was a 15 to 20 or so degree drop, all things being equal ( air temperature, riding speeds & conditions, etc).

Oh yeah,
I'm well aware of the oil leak issues, since these are new (replacement) cylinders.  At least I didn't have to pay any labor for the tear-down.  I discussed the issue with the dealer, and if there are additional issues, we'll just have to fight it out with the MoCo.  Oh well, it's only money..... :wall:
