Wind Splitter Windshield fitment question
« on: November 14, 2015, 04:57:40 PM »

Does anyone know if the Wind-splitter windshield part # 57400176 will work on an 08 CVO RoadKing FLHRSE4?  According to the HD website parts section it will work on 08 FLHR and FLHRC models.  What's different with those 2 as compared to the CVO model as far as fitting?

I'd like to order the windshield but don't want to have to send it back.  I sure could use some input from those in the know!  Thanks

I run the stock windshield off my 08 cvo king (traded in ) on my 13 cvo king sometimes for a little different look. Although the 08 shield goes on the 13 mounts a little tighter all fits fine. Should be no reason the windsplitter won't fit on your 08.

You should be OK, I think.
I put a standard Road King windscreen on my 2014 FLHRSE6.
The stock CVO (SERK) wind splitter unit was too short for me, as I got a lot of helmet buffeting.
The std RK unit slipped on without issue.

Thanks for the replies.  Windsplitter delivers tomorrow.  If the 08 windshield will fit the later models should be no reason the 2013-14 windshield won't work on the earlier model.

Fits like a glove!
