The quiet ones are 2", the standard ones are 2.25" and the loud ones are 2.5".  I bought the loud ones and sold the standard ones on ebay.  I was wondering if there was a way to modify them to make them louder?

I havent tried it but I would guess if you follow the tuning tips and you cut a baffle in half it would make it louder.   Check out the tuning tips on this web page from Gerald Rinehart

Thanks for the reccomendation but it was for Dyna, Soft tail and Sportsters.  Mine is a Road King with True Duals.  I am not sure it would be a good idea to cut these in half with the way there is a wide flange to seal it in the muffler.  I was wondering if Rinehart would sell me a set of baffles without the little holes punched in so that I could just install Thunder Baffles.  And whether or not to use my anti reversion cones.  I would like more noise and still keep low to mid power since this is where 100% of my riding is.

I found it easier to just dump the Reinhardts and install the Vance & Hines true dual setup with straight pipes. I then added Thunder Monster cones into the mufflers and my bike now runs better that it ever did with the Reinhardts.

John, sheesh, that didn't take long. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

It is a flange nut, size 5/16-24.

Have you tried running it with no baffle at all.   Should make it much louder :)

Remove the heat shield then use a 1/4 inch drive extension with a 1/2 inch flex socket. If you don't have one a 1/4 inch universal should work. Sometimes you can get around removing the heat shield just be careful not to let the nut or the socket fall in between the pipe and the heat shield.

I didn't think it would sound right or perform without the Rinehart baffles.  I would like to get s set with out the perforations though.
