Windshield
« on: August 26, 2010, 01:18:30 PM »

I am looking to get a windshield for a 07 SERK. Will any Road King windshield fit? I just traded in my 08 Street Bob yesterday and Love the new ride! I want a little more wind deflection than the tinted deflector that came with it. Any recommendations?
Thanks!

yes, if you do not use the brackets from your small one.  I would suggest going to ebay and finding a RK shield complete with mounting brackets.

With a Clearview shield, you can use your stock hardware.... :)

klock Werks has a new wind shield that is similar to the Clearview. But has curve's on the sides that put 15 #s of down force on the front end. I have the Clear view which is great but I will be trying out the Klock Werks Billboard shield some time soon  Billy

Look around, you should be able to find a used clean standard RK windshield with the chrome for $150. It will fit right on. Found one on craigslist thinking it would be my winter shield and have never taken it off. It works great for me.
