The one bike I regret selling the Tequillia Sunrise SG but really like the comfort of the 2011 Ultra. The one bike I regret NOT purchasing the Hot Citris 2012 CVO SG. I started with a Road King Classic and really like that bike. Easy to ride and comfortable. I have not seen the burgundy 2013 color in person, but feel that it might evoke the same excitment of colors that do it for me. I'm surprised by the lack of activity from the 2013 King. Am I missing something? If we can't have a CVO SG, why not the CVO Road King? I'm excited for the upcoming delivery of the new King.

Not a fan of the Batwing bikes, I aways wanted a street glide, until I rode one.  Love the Road Glide, and am keeping my Skunk.

Debated between the 13 CVO RG and 13 CVO RK. 

Chose the 13 Anniversary color Road King.  I am getting pretty excited about it, I have always liked the road king. 

I too am surprised there is not more buzz about the CVO King.  Seems to me it is the most versatile of all the touring bikes.  Use to swear it would be the bike I got when I moved to a touring frame bike.  Well, it wasn't it was a Road glide, then another.  So I am looking forward to the King for day trips and local riding.

I've had two new Road King Classics, an 06 and an 08.  really like my 11 cvo street glide.  if I take another plunge, it may be a road glide.  Never ridden one but from all the favorable feedback, really want to ride one.  The 13 cvo road king doesn't get me excited.  In my mind, RKs have that old school look.  The 13 looks like a street glide wannabe.

Had my 09 for 2 years 8 months, trade it with over 42K on it.  My 8 month old 12 has 15K on it, and I was out of the country four months I have owned it.  It will get traded when it has mid 40K on it.

The 13 King I plan to keep.

My first Harley was a 99 RKC.  I REALLY miss that bike and after trying the Crossbones and not coming to terms with what I'm looking for in a day tripper/around town two up bike, I want the new CVO AE RK.....badly.  Selling my Crossbones now with the hopes of picking up the RK later in the year.  I like the thought of the luxuries from my SEUC on a RK.  I always wished my RKC had lowers in the winter and tunes.  Problem solved.  I like all three color choices too.  I'm excited about the new CVO AE RK and I think others will be also once they see it in person.

Oh, the couple of us who have posted aren't the only ones.  The one at my local dealer is already sold.

I like the RK's. If I could only have one bike it would be a RK. They are very versatile as they can be a Hot Rod around town and with an aftermarket fairing a nice long distance rider. I like what the West Coast guys are doing with them.

Patience..... that is hard to come by, probably harder than finding a 13 CVO!

In my opinion
If HD had came out with the CVO street glide this year next to the CVO ROADKING and Roadglide, it would have been the best year for Harley in the level of selling bikes.
On the other hand, I love the CVO ROADKING despit that I have 2012 CVO street glide.
I guess that if I have the choice to get one of the Cvo collection, I would choose the RK

Well the CVO king will be my round town, and day trip bike for the most part, maybe some week-end trips.  The CVO Road Glide is for the long trips, and 700 mile days.

I was told I would see my Anniversary color after Oct 30th and before Christmas.

I'm ordering the LED head light for it and for my CVO road glide.

UPDATE: I was fortunate to ride a burgundy RK cvo on a factory demo day. I really like the color and the ride reminded me of my SG. The windshield has to go as I am only 6'0" and was riding with a half helmet. I need the taller windshield as it was windy and my sunglasses felt like they were going to break above 50 mph. Very stunning paint. An awesome stereo sound as i was really surprises. I'm glad I have one reserved and coming in.

Get rid of those lowers, Speakers in the Lid Tops and that windsplitter windscreen. Then not so bad.

The lowers and stereo are part of what attracts me to the new RK, while the new windscreen remains to be seen. Different strokes for different folks.

Since it was raining in the morning (Harley factory demo will not allow rain or wet pavments while riding), I was able to hook up my I-Pod and to my surprise, the stereo is a HUGE improvment! Sounds really good!

After having looked over the New 2013 CVO Road King in the dealers Showroom saturday morning, doesn't look like HD was very creative.
I see a lot of similarities in the CVO Members pics of his 2012 SESG

I am no fairing fan as well. But after looking at the windsplitter I would have to change that out soonest.

What is the 110th Edition CVO RoadKing Paint Scheme? I have seen the CVO RoadKing, red, but no 110th Edition Badges on it.

Agree, I will keep my 2008 RK recurved ClearShield for winter, no wind or buffeting, cristal clear.

What attracted me to the RK was the lowers and the windsplitter.  I don't need another motorcycle with a full fairing or batwing since I also own a Goldwing. This SERK has all that I was interested in, but everyone has their own tastes and that is what makes it exciting to look at motorcycles. If they all looked alike it would be boring.

I for one do not like the SESG or even the regular Street glide.

To me it is the perfect road king, the good back end that the CVO Road Glide Started.  No Fairing, but still have music.

Makes the perfect bike to go with my CVO Road Glide.

The 2013 SERK is a beautifully executed work. I ride the 2008 105th Anniversary model and think it's the best handling Harley there is. I'll bet the 2013 with the built in stereo and lowers will be a good catch.

They had one at the Demo days at my local dealers this weekend. Also had the CVO Ultra behind it. Dealer actually had one of the Road Kings sitting on the showroom floor same color as the Demo bike. It did get a lot of attention while I was there.

Didn't ride either of the Demo's as I'm perfectly happy with the current bike for now but I did sit on them between the rides.

Smoky Mountain HD has a blue one, it sure is sharp looking.  Really like the blue, if I was not so dead set on having the Anniversary one I would go for it.

I also saw the anniversary colors a friends Roadglide out in the sun.  That really looks nice.

I can't wait to see it on the King.

For those that want tunes while they ride, earplugs and a nano will save you a hundred pounds and gain you far better fidelity.  My 2 cents,  didn't mean to rain on anyone's parade.

I agree with you.
I could do very nicely without those lowers with speakers, Lids with speakers, the Ipod and that Windsplitter.
The only thing they did add was a Batwing fairing.

When I have no BSR, I take off the TP and either No Winscreen or the OEM 14" Smoke windscreen

Had my 2013 CVO RKLE (#90) for week and a half, and just broke the 550 mile mark of breaking it in. That part sucks.  I love the bike.  Traded in a RK Classic.  Loved that bike but it needed a few extra HP for the weight.  This one has the extra, and I'm waiting on Power Duals, 4in Rine's, and the Tuner to come in.  That will round it out.  It rides great, and I'm getting used to the clutch.  I try not to stare at the windscreen, because it is severely Butt Ugly, but it does work like described.  My old RK windscreen enabled me to hear the sounds of the road (and those Rine's), but blocked all forms of a breeze, and the 98deg days about killed me.

The differences with the clutch between my RK and the SERK are definately there.  It does take quite a bit less pressure to operate the clutch, and in heavy traffic I did notice the difference.  What got me the most was amount of clutch lever travel, and I'm still getting used to it after 700 miles.  The clutch lever requires only about 30% of the travel and my old RK was 80%.  Every now and then I get a lurch when shifting a bit faster and adding throttle at the same time.  It probably is a combo of higher torque and hydraulic clutch, over the standard RK.  Overall, I think the clutch improvements are good, but less forgiving.

At the NC state HOG Rally, I came across a 2012 SESG with the same upgrades I'm waiting for, Power Duals, 4in Rineharts, and Tuner.  Owner said the difference was dramatic over the stock CVO performance.  His looked sharp and sounded 100% better.  Hopefully the last of the parts will be coming in this week.  Will post pics.

Most definately.  We get used to our bikes particular quirks, and swapping those habits to a new ride has its moments.  I do love the little rise in blood pressure when I roll that throttle a bit faster than my old ride, and my mind thinks I have a half second or so before a response, but the CVO has reduced this to milliseconds, and the response is strong.  I used to Hang glide in my youth, and I remember the moment you go over the edge of a cliff, look down, and rapidly go up.  This bike is a little bit of that.

They still have the Blue one at Smoky Mountain HD was there today. I liked the blue was not to flashy/in your face. BUT my wife really liked the shade of blue, caught her sitting on it twice and talking to a salesman. Probably won't purchase a new one.

I here ya buddy but pretty sure when she gets one it probably won't be a new one. Finances dictate it will be a previously loved Blue one! Unless we hit the lottery.

The "previously loved" ones are pretty nice, and you get any upgrades and benefit of depreciation.  My wife absolutely does not ride with me.  I rode most of my life and my brother still rides track. He has been laid up after dumping his racing bike at 100+ several times.  My wife has way too many examples and won't go near a bike.  You definitely are blessed in having a wife that enjoys the road along with you.

I demo road the CVO King at Bikes Blues and BBQ, three times.  LOL.

Noticed the clutch improvement over the 12's.

Noticed the windshield like every CVO I have bought it too short to work for me.  I think if I was 5'8" or less it would be perfect.  However at 6'1" it buffets the glasses and helmet no mater how I adjust the vent.  Ducking a few inches it is very clam.

It felt small compared to my roadglides.

I am glad I have one coming.  Its going to be a fun bike.

Did notice the Demo bike had the seat gap between the tank and seat nose, like many of the 09 CVO road glides did.

Ive rode the 13 about 20 miles, my misses about 800 miles.

IMO Harley hit a homerun here.

The overall look, paint, and sound system are all top notch.

I put it on the dyno:  84.53hp / 103.28 tq.  That was on a 93 degree day.

We like the windscreen.  On the highway she opens the vent and there is no buffeting, the windstream goes right over her head.

She isnt going to change a thing.  Im going to slip a tuner on and at some point head pipes, but she loves it just the way it is.

Picked mine anniversary color CVO King up late on Nov 7th.  On the 10th it needed its 1K first service.  In the 3 weeks I have put 2250 miles on her, and I was out of town 6 days in Vegas during that time.

It is a very fun bike to ride.  I love everything about it but the windshield.  I am just to tall for it to work for me.  Bike handles great, seems small compared to my CVO Road Glide.

The slipper clutch is great, the biggest improvement I notice over the 12 CVO's.
