15 CVO Street Glide headlight
« on: August 14, 2015, 11:32:36 PM »

I am not thrilled with the daymaker headlight on my '15 CVO Street Glide. Anybody use anything better or am I buying spotlights to match?? Didn't really want those cluttering up the front end, but I'm thinking seeing at night might be a nice upgrade!

MJB,
I ended up with both spots and motolights.   Wasn't enough light for me either.   My 02 RK with halogens and spots is still brighter.   I also bought the Kuryakin kit that allowed the spots to stay on with the high beams.

Passing lamps ordered....but now I find out that on a '15 you need the HD Digital Tech to tell the BCM that you have passing lamps installed so the indicator works on the dash. Also--they can be programmed to stay on with the high beams which is a good thing.

But what is this world coming to?? The computer needs to be told I added some lights??????Holy Crap!!!!

I have a H4 LED bulb that's 20/30 watts and has 3600 lumens on high. 2" driving led lights 10w 700 lumens and 3.5" 25w 2500 lumens. The 3.5" are half power on low beam, they switch to high when when high beam is on. Lots of light.
