Anybody tried the wireless headset with any luck. I am curious if this works with a half helmet before purchasing. I mostly want it to talk to my passenger but am afraid of the turbulence. I have a RG with a 14” wind shield so I can here the stereo at 70 pretty good. Much appreciated

Mine works great but I wear a full face helmet. To get stereo you need the Harley branded S20. You should have received one headset with your 2019 CVO roadglide.

For phone conversation it works best with ear buds on a half shell. Your voice to others is great, theirs you can’t hear without them.

I received two Harley head sets with my 2019 CVO ultra limited with two boom microphones, one long and one shorter, the long ones work with our half helmets, not happy with the wind noise with the intercom on though. Radio sounds fine with intercom off, just cuts back when the wind noise breaks the VOX which changing on the radio doesn’t seem to help, is there a way to set the VOX on the wireless headset?

I have used the Sena 20S with a half helmet using these ear pockets:

https://www.amazon.com/Echo-Products-03-001-Universal-Warmer/dp/B0041EM072/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1539327079&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=echo+03-001

Plenty of volume in radio, had no complaints from receiving party on cb, phone calls at 70+ mph there was a mention of background noise that is not heard when wearing my full face helmet, but did not try intercom with this setup.

I have the ear pockets on the half helmets, its not the wind over my ears, its the wind noise through the speakers because the bomb mike opens the VOX and is coming from the intercom through the radio. I have read the headset mike has a factory VOX setting of 6 on a 1 to 10 that so far have not been able to change. I also have a foam filter over the mike that is supposed to cut out the wind noise, I’m sure with my full face helmet I would have no problems but only wear that in cooler weather witch now would have to buy another wireless headset.

Sorry, I was replying to Swhalen comment that the 20S would not work with a half helmet. I wasn't clear. Have you tried the device manager, that is where the VOX setting can be adjusted. Don't know how much help it will be.

Is that on the SENA APP? Thanks in advance.

From the 2019 GTS manual:
Navigate: Home> Communications> Intercom.
While speaking into the microphone, use the (+ or - ) to adjust sensitivity.

Okay thanks, I will try that as long as it’s not adjusting the radio VOX control which is set at the highest  I can go and the next setting will block it altogether and then the only way to use the intercom is use the PTT button.

Yes, on the sena app, the Harley version if using HD headsets. However this is the same as the infotainment menu settings that you can access on the bike when using HD branded headsets so it sounds like you have already tried it.
