Looking for Harley Rentals near the Keys

  We are time limited, wanna ride the Keys, so we are looking to fly into Somewhere not too far from the Bottom end of FLA and rent and ride.  Any thoughts?

A couple of years ago we flew in to Ft. Lauderdale and rented at Miami Harley Davidson.

Miami is the closest rental to the keys I know of.  Once out of Miami, past Homestead its a great ride.

You could also rent out of St Pete or Tampa or Orlando.  All are farther than Miami, but you could ride the everglades on your way over, do an air boat ride and such.

Wife and I have rode the Keys many times, and going again this year in March.  We ride down from TN.

Here's the link to the HD website for renting a bike and finding dealerships that do rent to go along with what Dave and JC have already posted.  When you go to this site, there is an note about 1/3rd of the way down that says "Find a Rental Location" and go from there.  Good luck.  Rode the keys on my own scooter a few years ago and loved it.  Was in St. Pete for a week long conference and there was snow back home in East Tennessee.  Took another week off and rode/enjoyed the Keys while waiting for the snow to melt (it didn't...still had to rent a UHaul in Cleveland TN to get the Ultra and Bushtec home...what a trip!).

There is an independent shop that rents in Key Largo.  Sorry - don't know the name or contact info but a Google search may help.

            Went to the Keys back in the 80's man oh man best remembered holiday beautiful, beautiful place

            If this is your first time there your in for a treat. Don't forget the pics to share your trip with us

Also, renting and riding thru the Keys is a very popular trip....reserve your bike early.  I waited too late to rent from Miami HD and had to settle for what they had left.

Fly into Ft Myers there is a Harley Dealer in Ft Myer & Naples. Round trip ride from Ft Myers to Key West 600 mile. I just made the trip on this past Monday and returned on Tuesday. The ride down Old 41 is nice. The ride from Homestead to Key West sucks. In my opinion should be on a list of the top 10 worst ride in the states.

Hi from Germany. We rented our bikes at Eagle Riders Miami 2 years ago. Location is near to International Airport. Price was cheaper compared to HD dealers and condition of bike was very good.

Peterson Harley south rents bikes they are about an hour from the keys.
