If someone has a parts manual for an 08-09 touring bike or a 2010 if the manual is published to show the "early" master cylinder used before the running change that brought the new non-serviceable cyclinder would you please scan the pages that show the exploded breakdown of the front master cylinder and its parts list?

Have a black one here that was a freebie from an 08 that went chrome.  Want to break it down and send the core off for chroming.  The disassembly is not patently obvious and I don't want to just yank on the plunger to discover some internal ring clip has broken the core or some other such potential nonsense.

If I had two cores I'd experiment.  But, dammmit, only got one.

Dammit I'm guessing at a lot of this. Can't see squat on this little phone. Was guessing by the general shape of the avatar  .

Weird thing is the little screen used to expand. Stopped doing that last week. No I'm squinting because I'm also too lazy to go get my glasses  .

Cool!  Now I know everything!  Big monitor makes so much difference .

And, yes, that breakdown does show everything I needed to know.  Little (probably) peel off dust boot and a snap ring behind that.  Now can send parts to the chromer.

Oops, just noticed one more thing to beg for.  HD part number for the kit that should include everything from 13 through 18 in the illustration please.  With that I'm golden on this little task.  If it's not handy don't worry about it.  Can get it from the parts counter at one of the dealerships.

Thanks again.  After seeing the pic during the terrible excuse for a Laker game last night and having it confirmed it was ok to just tug on the plunger and boot all it took was five minutes in the garage this morning and the parts are ready to visit a chrome shop.  Appreciate it .
