« on: July 10, 2008, 11:26:05 PM »

That's right... all you bring your 30K+ thousand dollar, 1/2 ton pieces of chrome chit to any road and all you'll be looking at from your oxymoron for a "fast harley" seat touring bike is my license plate... don't you guys get it... You can't make any Harley fast.. you just make them less slow... so you can go out and spend ridiculous amounts of money on a 1/2 ton harley.. I'll stay with the the only real performance harley worthy of the screaming eagle name for half your bike's price.

Damn thing even got handlebars :nixweiss: ?

Silly looking thing will sure as hell outrun me for awhile.  But at the end of 5th or 6th tank full I'll still be leaned back with my feet on the pegs and its rider will be looking for a chiropractor.

Welcome, ..... ???...So what SE parts do you have on it? I see a Thunder Header and aftermarket intake (Doughtery?)

And I do not think anyone here will doubt that a 500lb-ish  sporty is quick, But there are some 1/2 ton POS's (as you call them) that will eat it up!

Twolane, I would bet you could beat him to Alaska and back(OK my Bad) Tulsa......(he has to find the handle bars first)
I am sure he would be crippled before the end......" don't you guys get it".......

Well that was a quick post and run. Didn't even stick around 15 minutes to see any replies. My only thought is: as a percentage of cost of purchase to additional accessories added, I think I fared better buying my SEUC over a sporty.

Nice looking bike though.

Alaska?  Start after an early breakfast and that thing would be dust by lunch.  I'll even give him the handicap of me pulling the trailer (snacks!).  Would never see him again from the second day on.  Some people don't understand why we ride.

It's ok.  NightsternO was just having some fun.  Let him play.  Might as well be welcomed to play here a lot.  After all, it's not like he can ever ride very far at any one time ??? .   :huepfenlol2:

It's all about efficiencies.  While he's stopping every three gallons and walking all the way in to get crackers and water and I'm standing there resting a foot on the board munching away while the gas pours.  Trailers are definitely a speed accessory.
