Recommended builder in the Midwest
« on: September 16, 2014, 09:51:05 AM »

I definitely want to do cams this winter, and I will probably go ahead and have the lifters done that seem to be a problem with these engines.  I am planning a couple of very long rides next summer, and Sturgis 2016 and I don't want to have to worry about this thing breaking.

My question is can someone recommend a good builder/tuner in the midwest that tunes with a race tuner?  I am in Southern IL, 100 miles to St. Louis, 200 miles to Nashville, 200 miles to Memphis, 200 miles to Indianapolis, 350 miles to Chicago.

WFOLarry (Larry's Motorcycle Machining) for the engine,
Brian at Valley Racing for the tune. Both in Illinois.

He tuned my 2008 Road King and did a great job.  It was a Mastertune however.  My Road Glide came with the SERT, so I will stick with it rather than spend on a Mastertune for the sake of having a Mastertune.  Does Jason tune with the SERT?

I also used Jason at C&S. He is a great guy to work with on a bike build, or just a tune.
