Yup the HD visor trim ring installs over the stock ring.
At least it did on my SG...

Yes, it does. In fact, it has to. That's the way it's designed.

I originally only installed the driving lights and WOW what a difference that made! I ended up ordering the headlight as well but so far I have not had a chance to ride it in the dark to see if that gave me even more light or not!

I went with these daymakers, http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/daymaker-reflector-led-headlamp

they are different than what is now stock on the 14's

My dealer has these on display, but none for stock. And didn't know the Daymakers have two different versions now.

I run the truck lite "daymaker" in my Jeep,  they are a huge improvement over stock,  You can see down the road a long way with high beam.  They will trick you in areas with street lights because of the color of the light coming from them,  its not blue,  but just different.  But once in the dark,  they come alive.  great for animals too as their eyes just light up because of the light coming from them.
