Sorry, folks!  I know, I know... no pics = it didn't happen/doesn't exist.  Here you go:

Good looking bike and nicely done with the extras. :2vrolijk_21:

I don't think I'd want to see the price on that seat and backrest setup with that stitching done up to match.

For the garage door opener (GDO), here's how it's done on touring models (I believe it will still work on other bikes, but I THINK the AUX port I describe in Step 2 below is under the seat).  I searched high and low for some detailed instructions on how to set this up and didn’t find anything useful, so I’m hoping this helps a lot of other folks like me.  It works perfect and I couldn’t be happier with the results!....

Nice!   That's the kinda stuff I love about this site!   Thanks for sharing!

You are right... I don't want to see it again either.  But buy once, cry once!  And the rider's backrest is being ordered today.

reinstalled the radio after sending it to Iron Cross for repairs and upgrades! Now to get all that wiring rezipped and tucked away and to test the radio!

I finished final assembly of the back end after stretching the arm.  Buddy of mine matched the paint and made my fender stretch look almost factory.

michaelokielee did you have to remove your fairing to get enough wire to disconnect old and connect new?  If so did you have to remove the fang spoiler to remove the top of the fairing?
I started to replace mine with CD ProBeam signal/driving lights and there was not even enough wire to disconnect the factory signal lights so I stopped the install.

You do not have to remove the fang spoiler to remove the top of the fairing.  Three bolts hold it on on each side, the lower one at the bottom of the fairing, one behind the speaker grill, and one at the turn signal, this is same for other side.  Then the windshield bolts.  Plenty of extra wire in the fairing for the turn signals.  You can un plug pull out what you need swap bulbs, then pull wire back in.  Had mine off to do CB and Garage door opener.

I started to replace mine with CD ProBeam signal/driving lights and there was not even enough wire to disconnect the factory signal lights so I stopped the install.

I had to remove the Fairing on mine because the tech that built my bike did not give me any extra slack. I am sure it just depends on the bike, depending on the person that routed the harness for the signal. If you can pull yours out enough to see the JAE connector, you can stick a screwdriver up in the signal housing to push the release tab on the connector.  The Custom Dynamics lights come with a 3 inches of extra wire, so install is easy once you get the factory led out.

To answer your second question, you do have to remove the (2) screws on each side attaching the Fang to the Fairing, (1) screw each side under the Front Speaker covers, (1) Cap bolt in Signal Housing on each side, and (2) screws on each side of Windshield,(12) total to remove the Front Fairing.

Which ones are those?  I went to their website but wasn't sure which ones you got.  They look nice.  Did you also get clear lenses?
