Hadn't quite settled on Christine yet. I know Chritine's (the car) red, and now that you put it that way, I'm still looking for a name for her! ::) ;)

OK, not quite there yet, but here's 7 pics of the progress. It's coming together nicely. Still waiting for the Doherty adapter so I put an S&S A/C assembly on the Mikuni 45mm carb w/the breather piped to the ground, the Autometer electronic speedo/tach with internal indicator lights, new battery side & top covers & strap, and yellow Accel coil & 8.8mm wires. He'll finish the rest of the wiring when the new speedo comes in. We should be done with this bike by next weekend! Can't wait!!! :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:

Last one! Not much left as you can see. That's still the old seat, but that $22 seat I bought on EBay from an '85 FXEF (on the floor to the right) fits OK. Not perfect cause it's from a round rear fender bike, and I have a Bobtail rear. But good enough for me to use my original seat and have it remade and still have a seat in the interim! ;)
