Title: "TIRES" BIAS VS RADIAL
Post by: slacker2 on January 23, 2012, 11:31:57 AM
TO THOSE WITH SO MILES ON THEM,

Thinking of a set a radials, can anyone chime in on a their thoughts and experience.
Benefits , disadvantages ???

Also is it me or is there like no rear fender accessories for the 2011 FLHXSE2. Anybody
know of a source and front fender adds that are not plastic. Looking for the old cruiser look.

I don't care as much as far as the milage factor. If the radials will ride and handle better, works for me.

Radials came stock on the Wife's 07 FLHRSE3 and they were very good when they were new. The life of the tires sucked. The front tire wore with a very strange pattern in 34K I think the bike had a least 5 front tires and 4 rear. Dunlop told me they are a performance tire and expect only 5 t 6 K miles.
