I don't believe that Corbin can make their pillion (either one) work with the stealth rack.  The thing is that the stock seat ends in front of the screw/bolt socket.  With Corbin, the base plate of the pillion extends past the screw/bolt socket in the fender.  As short as my pillion is already, they'd have to cut another inch to inch and a quarter off the back of the seat to fit the stealth rack.

At that point, you'd be up over the screw/bolt socket.  With a Corbin pillion you remove the screw and screw a mounting spike in that hole so that when installed correctly, the mount is under the pillion and not visable (to prevent theft of the pillion).

I'm going to take TJ's rack and pillion to Corbin in a few weeks to talk to them about it, but I just don't see it happening due to the design of the pillion.  :nixweiss:

I hope this explains it and didn't make it more confusing for you.

Good Point JC...but that spike does prevent people from jumping on the back looking for a ride :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Yes, he can order is shaved enough to work with the quick release tour pack but I don't believe it's possible to shave it another inch to inch and a quarter to fit the luggage rack.  I'll post photos when I get home.....of my already shaved pillion, with the stealth luggage rack. (I don't have the pics on this computer).

JC, I appreciate that.  I will look for the pics when I get home later.

Side view of the rack in relation to the Corbin Touring p-pad (pillion).  Please note that the back to docking points are not seated.  If I pushed down to seat the back end of the luggage rack, it would literraly rip into my pillion.

Keep in mind that my p-pad has already been shaved down to allow the quick release tour pack to fit.  You can see that from the side profile photo above.

This is an overhead vew that shows how the rack infringes on the p-pad.  And again, the back half of the luggage rack isn't even seated.

JC, I see what you mean.  It's a shame they don't fit together.  I would have to guess that the passenger pillion seat is rather comfortable given its extended size.  I will have to think about this further.

JC, Thanks for your help.

JC--I'm guessing that the Touring pad is just wider than the 50's and not any shorter?

Rich--I have the 50's pad if you want to see it on the bike with the Classic Solo before you order.

What does this have to do with Dawn's crack?  I'll call you after 10am.

I have TJ's 59s p-pad.......it's the same length as the Touring p-pad.  It's just a little narrower.

She thinks it's pretty comfortable......you can see she's got enough room to almost turn sideways in there (I have a rider's backrest, too).
