Asked a few questions here this spring when the '10 SESG in Tequila Sunrise caught my eye. Thanks to everyone for being so helpful here on this site.
Decided to wait and get a used SG for the summer... Put my name on the SE wait list at the local dealer and decided that if the one of the colors of the '11s was orange and black that I'd probably pull the trigger. I ended up second on the list. First guy wanted a different color or didn't have the cash or something, so I moved to the top. Dealer calls right before Sturgis to let me know they've got the orange & black at their other store and do I want it. I tell him I'd like to call him from Sturgis after I've seen all the colors in person, just to be sure.
Needless to say, we were pulled over at a C-Store asking for directions for a back way to Nemo, when a guy pulls up on a Tequilla to ask us for directions. Asked him how he liked his bike and when he told me how much he loves it, I knew that must be the sign I was looking for.
Only problem is that I'm trading my '09 FLHX to my brother and he went to Wyoming for a week the day I returned from Sturgis. So my orange & black '11 FLHXSE2 is waiting patiently in the dealer's back room with a tag on the throttle with my name on it.
Should be able to pick her up on Monday! I can barley stand it!
