Looks good!!  I've been thinking of getting the same license plate frame, blasting the chrome off of it and then painting/clear coat the same color as the rear fender.

fly-dog.. wanted to do the same, but I was in a rush to get the old bracket off. I think matching it to paint would look awesome! Maybe a winter project..

The painted bracket does look a lot better.  Question:  How did you determine what paint code to use?  If anyone knows what paint code would match the "Ruby Red" that would sure be helpful.

 my local paint shop pretty much used these color tags they have...my Slate color is spot on...matches perfectly ...there are shops here in phoenix that can color match your Ruby red when you get back in town...

that's if you wanted to wait that long...lol
