Seems all the "late" model slipons are or have gone to 4 inch. Will or can a 3.5 in exhaust still be used? Too much back pressure perhaps?   


i.e. : 2011 RUSEter with stock headpipes, V&H xduals, or Fullsac's x-pipe.

Fads and trends is all, the current "cool" is the 4" cans, just like the new trend of 21" + front wheels. Go back a few, ok more than a few, years and it was 2" drag pipes.
