Clutch fluid
« on: September 24, 2018, 08:05:48 PM »

So I just changed my cover gaskets on both the clutch and brake cause they were leaking. Stupid me didn't have the bike standing up straight enough and when I took the clutch cover off I lost some fluid. Got everything back together and cleaned really really well but didn't replace the lost fluid. I didn't lose a lot but I am now thinking I lost to much. I can still see fluid through the glass but how do you tell of it is full? Is there a fill line on the inside? Never really checked cause I wanted to get the cover back on before I lost more, clutch feels fine not soft, just wanted advice from more experienced people.

Thanks
Kevin

Really he bike should not be standing up straight, should be on the stand with the handlebars turned the direction that levels out the clutch reservoir (I believe to the right but just look when you do it).  Inside there is a shelf (for lack of a better description) that has FULL on it, take the fluid up to that level.

Turn the handle bars the other direction to do the front brake.
